It’s shameful

Right on 8th and Mitchell is an abandoned building with a U.S. flag hanging on a pole on top. The U.S. flag is in horrible shape. Somebody needs to move in and take care of it. Shameful to see our U.S. flag in such condition.

Encourage recycling

Most schools have got a paper collection container. The city wants the haulers to decrease their input in the landfill by 30%. Maybe we should put two more containers on the school lots, one for plastics and one for metals. That way the haulers will be more in compliance because if people start recycling, then we will do better for the landfill.

World record project

Congratulations to the pool on 36th and Sacramento area for another world record. Every day that goes by, another world record for the longest time it takes to do a four- and six-week project. It’s about a year and a half now.

Just you wait

To all you people who voted for Trump because of the economy, wait till the tariffs take effect and the United States is being charged more for what comes in. That means they pass it on to the store and you.

No turning it back now

Ever since Trump took presidency, it seems like people are getting what they ask for. I didn’t vote for him, and I never will, but I’m glad you people are all happy about what you got. Ain’t no turning it back now. I think they need to impeach him. Get him out of there. It’s going for the worst. We need to pray for America, need to pray for the American people.
