Greer, Judie K. 1942-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Judie K. Greer, 82, St. Joseph, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025. She was born April 8, 1942, to Harold Brewster Sr. and Alma Pauline (Inscho) Taylor.

Judie married Gary Edward Greer on Nov. 5, 1961.

Judie served Park University with unwavering commitment as an Administrative Assistant for 35 years, where she embraced her students with motherly affection and support.

Her love for knitting and reading was matched only by her devotion to maintaining lifelong friendships. Judie’s warmth and sincerity touched the hearts of many, and her ability to nurture relationships was truly remarkable.

She was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandchild, Knox David Mingus.

Survivors include her husband; children, Gary D. Greer (Cosette), and Dyana Kubiak (Chris); grandchildren, Haley Gadeken (Steven), Caley Mingus (Paul), Andrew Greer (Janae), Kyle and Tyler Kubiak; great-grandchildren, Asher, Jayla, and Addison Greer. Grayden and Macksley Gadeken, and Marcus Mingus; siblings, Harold Brewster Taylor Jr., George Thomas Taylor, and Paula Horn; numerous nieces and nephews.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10 a.m. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph.
