Tracking a mild and dry end to the work week

A cool and clear Thursday will give way to a mild and dry Friday, despite increasing cloud cover as a weak disturbance passes through the region.

Skies will become partly cloudy late tonight, with lows falling into the upper 30s to low 40s and southerly breezes at 15 to 20 mph.

Partly to mostly cloudy but dry conditions will prevail Friday, with afternoon highs in the low 60s and westerly breezes at 15 to 25 mph.

Saturday will bring a mix of sun and clouds and another afternoon warm up with highs once again returning to the low 60s. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms will return late Saturday night, exiting the area by Sunday morning.
