Tracking warm and sunny days ahead

Above average temperatures, sunny skies, and southerly winds have made for a balmy and breezy Monday across the Mid-Missouri River Valley. Mild and dry days are in store through much of the work week, before shower and thunderstorm chances return by Friday.

Mostly clear skies will prevail tonight with southerly winds of 15 to 25 mph becoming lighter after midnight, with lows falling into the mid to upper 40s.

Sunshine will remain Tuesday, with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 60s and northeasterly winds of 10 to 15 mph.

Partly cloudy skies will return Wednesday, with dry conditions continuing and afternoon highs in the low 70s.
