Candidates running for the two open seats on the St. Joseph School District Board of Education will speak at a Chamber of Commerce event later this month.

The chamber will host its next Public Affairs Coffee event at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, at Stoney Creek Hotel and Conference Center, 1201 N. Woodbine Road.

All six candidates -- Jennifer Kerns, Brian Kirk, Kim Miller, James Mrkvicka, Kenneth Reeder and Cassandra Veale -- have been invited to attend and will be featured in a moderated forum.

The cost of the breakfast for chamber members is $15, and the fee for the general public is $20.

To register, visit saintjoseph.com or call 816-232-4461 by Friday, March 7.
