NCAA golf competition to return to St. Joseph Country Club

St. Joseph is set to host two NCAA Division II golf championships in 2025 and 2026.

Missouri Western State University made the announcement on its website Thursday morning. Hosting the tournament was made possible through Missouri Western’s partnership with the St. Joseph Sports Commission.

The competition will commence at the St. Joseph Country Club on May 8-10, 2025 for the NCAA Div. II Men’s Golf Central and Midwest Regional and May 4-6, 2026 for the NCAA Div. II Women’s Central Regional.

According to the announcement, the men’s and women’s golf regional will return to the area for the third time in history. The men’s tournament will return for the first time in 20 years and the women’s tournament makes a return for the first time since 2021.
