Green, Daria M. 1959-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Daria Marcie (Kobzej) Green, 65, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, in St. Joseph. She was born Nov. 27, 1959, in St. Joseph, daughter of the late Nadja and Ivan Kobzej. She graduated from Benton High School, and was a very talented cook, who loved animals, and spending time with her family.

Daria was known to have a very big heart. She was a member of the St. Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church.

Daria was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Bill, Raymond, and Gregory Kobzej.

Survivors include siblings, Olga (Wayne) Bisig, George (Jan) Kobzej, and Helen (Bennie) Hendrix; sister-in-law, Lin Kobsey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews.

Mass of Commemoration 2 p.m. Saturday Jan. 25, 2025, at the St. Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church, Father Petro Kozar Celebrant.
