KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Abbie Lynn Elkins 48, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, in Kansas City.

She was born March 27, 1976 in St. Joseph, daughter of the late JoAnn and Arthur Culver. She graduated from Benton High School, and previously worked as a Manager at World Finance. She married Rick, on Sept. 3, 2016, and the rest is history.

Abbie loved dolphins, and was very crafty, especially around Christmas time where she would make crafts for all the kids. Abbie was an active advocate in the ovarian cancer community. She served as a support system for those going through ovarian cancer.

Abbie was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jeannie Middleton and Edna Obrien; brother, Charles “David” Callaway; and nephew, Davey Callaway.

Survivors include: husband, Rick Elkins of the home; daughters, Autumn (Alexandra) Koronis and Breanna Henderson; son, Montana Elkins; brother, Jerry Culver; sister, Brenda Williams; and aunt, Barbara Jean Honeycutt; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, at Rupp Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 7 p.m., Pastor David Mejia officiating.
