HAMILTON, Mo. – Sharon Lee Day, 81, of Hamilton, Missouri, passed away Nov. 20, 2024. She was born Sept. 21, 1943, to Ralph and Ethel (Bowman) Day, in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Sharon married James Day May 4, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri. She worked as a secretary for a dental office. Sharon loved arts and crafts and enjoyed bowling in a Hamilton league.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James, March 12, 2021.

Sharon is survived by her son, Larry (Heather) Day, Cameron, Missouri; daughter, Cindy (John) Ricci, Naples, Florida; Sheila Lake, Kansas City, Missouri, Cheri Day, Navada; grandchildren, Slayde Day, Cameron, Sawyer (Riley) Day, Cameron, Kandice Horton, Chillicothe, Jenny Gaines, Independence, Missouri, Sagan Day, Cameron, Xavier Shepard, Kansas City, Bryan Gaines, Kingsville, Missouri, James Lake, Smithville, Missouri; three great-grandchildren, Anniston Horton, Kara Horton, Leilynn Harrison; two sisters, Gwen Moody, South Bar Harbor, Minnesota, Jeri, Gay Belfast, Maine.

Memorials may be made to Three Rivers Hospice.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2024, at Civil Bend Cemetery, Gallatin, Missouri.
