A Maryville, Missouri, woman suffered serious injuries in a one-car crash late Monday.

The accident occurred at about 11:20 p.m. Monday on Interstate 29 at Missouri Route 273, near Tracy and Platte City. The driver, a 50-year-old Kansas City, Missouri, man, failed to negotiate a curve and hit the median barrier, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

While he was unhurt, the 44-year-old Maryville woman riding with him was taken to Mosaic Life Care with serious injuries.

She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the patrol report.
