Patrick “Pat” L. Durrie, 73, of St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, in St. Joseph. He was born Sept. 27, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Louise and Thomas Durrie. He graduated from Shawnee Mission West and Pitt State University.

Pat spent many of his working years working as an Associate in several area Retail Stores. He was an avid KC Chiefs and KC Royals fan. He enjoyed taking his daily trip to Brothers Grocery for a scratchers ticket and spending time working in his yard.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Susan Durrie.

Survivors include daughters, Erinn (Jay) Gemmell, of St. Joseph, and Melissa Durrie of Kansas City; granddaughters, Addie and Miah Gemmell; niece, Emily Power; amd nephews, Elliott and Edward Durrie.

Mr. Durrie has been cremated under the care of Rupp Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Arbor Day Foundation.
