The Sons of the American Revolution will honor veterans of the War of 1812 on Saturday, Oct. 26, in ceremonies at two St. Joseph cemeteries.

James L. Hyde, John Devorss and John C. Register will be recognized with grave marking ceremonies at their burial sites. The group will start at 10 a.m. at New King Hill Cemetery, Fourth and Phillips streets, before heading to a 10:45 a.m. event at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, 8875 Missouri Route 371.

Members of the community are invited to attend the commemoration.
