Annual Stroke Walk and Roll team raises funds in memoriam of friend, family member

September 7, 2024, marked the 20th year for Team Dena Pina to walk in the American Stroke Foundation’s annual Stroke Walk and Roll. The team, consisting of family and friends of the late Dena Bower Bachman, raised $2,775 in her memory to help provide programs to assist stroke survivors on the road to recovery.

Ms. Bower Bachman taught both French and Spanish at Lafayette High School, and served as the coordinator of the foreign language department for the St. Joseph School District.
