DEARBORN, Mo. – Ellen Eskridge, 96, of Dearborn, Missouri, passed away at a healthcare facility in Maryville, Missouri, on Sept. 30, 2024.

She was born on Aug. 4, 1928, to Robert and Kathleen (Means) Ray. Ellen grew up in Deaborn where she graduated high school.

On Sept. 9, 1950, she was united in marriage to Jim Eskridge. After their marriage they lived in Dearborn where they made their home. Her husband, Jim, preceded her in death in 2009.

She was a member of the Dearborn Methodist Church.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Jim; daughter, Kathy; grandson, Justin; a great-granddaughter, Grace.

She is survived by her sister, Jane (Ernie) Harris, of Dearborn; sons, Steve (Janila) Eskridge, Graham, Missouri, and Chris (Pam) Eskridge, Dearborn; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at Dearborn Cemetery, Dearborn.
