PATTONSBURG, Mo. – Karen Eileen Mallen, 83, passed away Sept. 30, 2024.

She was born in Altamont, Missouri, on Jan. 24, 1941, to Charles and Wilma (Vanover) Jordan.

Karen graduated from Cameron, Missouri, High School in 1959 and worked as an operator for GTE Telephone Company until retiring.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, David K. Mallen.

Survivors: three children, Rhonda (Craig) Lambert, Pattonsburg, Missouri, Douglas (Paula) Sigman, Savannah, Missouri, and Darren (Ronda) Sigman, Maryville, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Alyssa Lambert, Lindsey (Josh) Parsons, Jessica (Tanner) Rickabaugh, Eric (Holly) Sigman, Brant (Ashley) Melvin, Austin (Christen) Melvin, Jessica Keefer; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, at Poland-Thompson Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to the service at 10 to 11 a.m.

Burial in Graceland Cemetery.
