Bonnie Louise (Gill) Jones, 91, St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024. She was born to Charley Nelson Gill and Ethel (Hamilton) Gill in St. Joseph.

Bonnie graduated from Lafayette High School. She attended Brookdale Church. She worked for J.C. Penney for several years and volunteered at Heartland Hospital.

Survivors include daughters, Gayle Schaber Metzinger, Karol Schaber Kelley (Kevin); son, Floyd “Rusty” Richardson (Connie); six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Francis Whisenand, Delores Skeen, Virginia Schweder, and Barbara Gladden; and brothers, Jerry, Mickey and Cecil Gill.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1 p.m. Monday, October 21, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Inurnment Savannah Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Noyes Home for Children.
