St. Joseph residents will have the opportunity to paint like Bob Ross when the artist’s family friend, Bram Bevins, hosts three days of painting workshop Oct. 18 to 20.

The nationally known artist traveled the nation with Steve Ross, Bob Ross’ son, to share the late artist’s message that the “secret to doing anything is believing that you can do it.” After Steve Ross faced medical difficulties, Bram continued to travel to spread the message and prove that anyone can paint like a professional.

Bevins will bring his venture to Stewartsville to teach an oil-painting course. Attendees will have the opportunity to paint a sunset lake, moon rising and an Alaskan view in the style similar to Ross.

To register for the course, visit paintwithbram.com or call 816-284-1951 or 816-248-6783.
