Recipe corner: Granola

Give this delicious granola recipe a try.
6 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup dry powdered milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup honey
3/4 cup wheat germ
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup flaked coconut
2 tsp water
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1½ tsp vanilla
1 cup raisins (optional)
4 cups chopped walnuts, sliced or slivered walnuts, chopped pecans, flax seeds, sunflower seeds (any or all of these)
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix oats, brown sugar, dry milk, nuts, seeds and raisins. In a small bowl mix oil, honey, vanilla and water (use hand mixer). Pour over dry ingredients and stir until all is coated. Pour into greased baking sheet(s) and spread evenly. Bake 30-35 minutes, stirring twice during baking. Seal in Ziploc bags or other airtight containers. May be frozen.
