Community members are invited to a Hispanic Heritage Banquet next week at Missouri Western State University.

The free event, which is part of the college’s National Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, in the Fulkerson Center.

Missouri Western’s Center for Diversity and Inclusion and the Association of Latin American Students are hosting the banquet featuring guest speaker Lisandra Guerra Rodriguez, a world champion and Olympic cyclist. The Kansas City Latin Jazz Orchestra will provide dance music.

Although there is no cost, those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP at griff.vn/HHB24.
