Vehicle strikes Lehr Construction Friday night

A vehicle struck the Lehr Construction building and did additional damage to  the area of Frederick Avenue late Friday, with no injuries reported.

The St. Joseph Police Department received the call around 9:30 p.m. The vehicle traveling westbound on Frederick veered off the road, colliding with the Lehr Construction building, a telephone pole near Carpet Center, and a gas line. The individual responsible for the incident fled the scene; however, law enforcement was subsequently able to apprehend the suspect.
