Brenda Lea Boeh, 63, of St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, at her home. She was born Dec. 23, 1960, in St. Joseph, daughter of Bonnie and Raymond Hoover Sr. She graduated from Lafayette High School, class of 1979. She married Charles Boeh on Nov. 17, 1978. She had worked in the Sanitation Department at Tyson Foods and Hillshire.

Brenda enjoyed spending time reading, going shopping, traveling and spending time with her sisters and grandchildren. She also enjoyed volunteering her time for Heros for Heros.

Brenda was preceded in death by husband, Charles Boeh Sr.; her parents, Bonnie Jean Hoover-Zberiski and Raymond Hoover Sr.; her brother, Raymond Hoover Jr.; and grandson, Joey Boeh.

Survivors include sons, Charles (Elorie) Boeh, of St Joseph, and Bryon (Susan) Boeh, of Raymore, Missouri; sisters, Dianna Crofford, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Paula Hamilton, of St. Joseph, Peggy (Ray) Buch, of Elwood, Kansas, and Patti (Dave) McKinney, of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Lauren, Kaylea, Gabe, Kaleb, Katie, Isabella and, Oren Boeh.

The family would like to Thank Mosaic Hospice, especially nurses Cynthia McCallon and Susie Holiman, for the care they provided.

Graveside Funeral Services and Interment will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Pastor Skip Crisp, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Heros for Heros.
