Mary “Denise” Lewis, 68, of St. Joseph, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024.

She was born on June 1, 1956, to Jim and Dee Jordan. Denise attended Cathedral Catholic School and graduated in 1974 from Bishop LeBlond High School.

She spent over 30 years working at Cablevision. She then started a new chapter in life and became a co-owner of Muny Inn.

Denise loved horse riding and attending horse shows. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, whatever adventure that might be.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Terry Jordan and Michele Jordan.

Survivors include her children, Krissi (David) Kretzer and Lexi (Corey) McGuire; grandchildren, Breanna and Trey Kretzer, Finn, Kieran, and Rory McGuire.

Visitation will be Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. The Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. followed by a prayer service at the funeral home. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
