Riverside Road over U.S. Route 36 to close beginning Monday

Drivers who traverse the the Riverside Road bridge over U.S. Route 36 will need to seek an alternate route for much of next week due to bridge repairs.

Necessary bridge repairs will close the portion OF Riverside Road — also called Buchanan County Route AC — over U.S. Route 36 beginning Monday, Sept. 16, at 7 a.m. through Friday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m.

Motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure during repairs.

In addition, single-lane closures may be necessary during daytime hours on U.S. Route 36 under Riverside Road. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
