St. Joseph woman seriously injured in weekend crash

A 47-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after a rollover crash on Saturday afternoon near Savannah, Missouri.

Deanna Stewart, of St. Joseph, was traveling north in a 2016 Kia Soul on U.S. Route 71 when she traveled off the roadway and struck an embankment, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol crash reports. The vehicle then overturned several times before returning to the road.

Stewart was taken by EMS to Mosaic Life Care. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to crash reports.
