WATHENA, Kan. – Timothy “Tim” Floyd, 65, of Wathena, Kansas, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at Mosaic Hospital in St. Joseph.

Tim was born on Jan. 29, 1959, in St. Joseph, to Forrest and Joan (McIntyre) Floyd. He was a long-time resident of Wathena.

Tim married Cathi Hoffman on May 27, 1996, in Wathena. She survives.

Tim was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Carl and Eleanor Floyd; maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Agnes McIntyre; nephew, Ryan Force; great-nephew, Charlie Theis. Additional survivors include, daughter, Misty Boswell (Jason), of Rolla, Missouri; son, David Floyd, of Rolla; two grandchildren, Joel Cardon and Jayden Floyd; his mother, Joan Floyd, of Blair, Kansas; two sisters, Rebekah Sharp (Tom), of Wathena, Carrie McCloud of Dallas, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Wathena Community Building, Wathena. www.harmanrohde.com As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
