Child seriously injured in four-wheeler crash Thursday

A 9-year-old girl was seriously injured in a Clinton County four-wheeler crash Thursday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 8:15 p.m., as the 9-year-old drove a four-wheeler in a private Locust Street yard in Kidder, Missouri.

According to the crash report, she struck a T-post, which caused the four-wheeler to flip.

While the driver was wearing safety gear, she suffered serious injuries and was taken to Children’s Mercy by Caldwell County Ambulance.
