She was born on June 14, 1941, to Earl and Doris (Lawson) Wilfong, in Mound City, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Virgil L. Fletchall on March 10, 1962.
Dortha was a proud wife and homemaker, providing a loving environment for their four children. Making memories with her family was her favorite pastime, and she loved to shop and go out for lunch with her daughters.
She enjoyed camping, playing cards, crossword puzzles, reading, music, sewing, and quilting. Dortha also had a collection of baby dolls that she loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Darlene Budine, Gerald “Butch” Wilson, Joyce Carver, and Winston Wilson; and her son-in-law, Mike Nolen.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Virgil Fletchall; children, Donald Fletchall (Alicia), Virginia Griffith (Mark), Carla Nolen and Becky Ruoff (Randy); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to cherish their special memories of Dortha’s life.
Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1 p.m. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial contributions can be made to Mosaic Life Care Hospice.
