Superintendent search focus of school board meeting

The St. Joseph School board is meeting this evening to discuss early steps in its search for a new superintendent.

The board plans to begin talks about requests for proposals from search firms and make plans to interview those contenders.

Current superintendent Gabe Edgar announced he will retire at the end of the upcoming school year. He has served in the role since July of 2022 after joining the district in 2019 as its chief financial officer.
