Patricia Jeanette Barnard, 92, of St. Joseph, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024, at a local health care center. She was born April 10, 1932, in Wathena, Kansas, daughter of Lois Shank and Howard Keith. She graduated from Easton High School. Patricia worked as a Data Processor at Sister’s Hospital and later Heartland Hospital, where she retired.

She was an avid league bowler, loved working in her garden, cooking and baking. Patricia was very active and enjoyed staying busy. She was a longtime member of Copeland Baptist Church.

Patricia was preceded in death by husband, Marvin Barnard, in 2006; her parents; sister, Wanda Casteel; brothers, Charles Keith and Kay Roger Keith.

Survivors include sons, Scott Barnard and Roger (Cheryl) Barnard; sister, Mary Barton, all of St. Joseph; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024, at Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials are requested to the Copeland Baptist Church.
