KING CITY, Mo. – Donald F. Lambing, 73, King City, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024.
He was born on June 22, 1951, to Donald and Margaret (Butrick) Lambing, in St. Joseph.
Donald attended Missouri Western State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
He worked for the city of Elwood, Kansas, and M&G Motors. For 37 years, he dedicated his time as an accountant at Hershewe & Co PC, alongside his dear friend, Joe Hershewe.
Donald was a fish hobbyist, avid supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs, and had a love of politics.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Carol Brower.
Survivors include his wife, Devera Lambing; children, Christopher Lambing and Corey Nickell (Jon); grandchildren, Jordan and Genevieve Nickell; and his sister, Donna Lambing.
Farewell Service 9 a.m. Monday, July 8, at Parkway Christian Fellowship.
