Local businesses gain exposure at vendor craft fair

Time Out Entertainment Center brings awareness to local businesses with a vendor craft fair.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., attendees can explore various crafts and creations from local businesses. They have a little bit of everything from clothing and accessories to home decor and trinkets.
Pamela Thomas, owner of Heartland Piece Natural Oils, says at the vendor craft fair all the businesses support each other which also boosts sales.
“We try to work with each other as vendors, each of us, and will promote other vendors as well,” Thomas said.
At Heartland Piece Natural Oils, they specialize in chemical free oils and skincare that is safe to use even years down the line. Their products are based from herbs and land grown ingredients to benefit health and beauty.
Thomas says one of the hardest parts of being a business owner is finding support within a niche audience.
“It’s a special clientele,” she said. “That’s the way a lot of vendors are. Trying to find that product that’s going to hit everybody, that’s going to draw them in.”
Thomas uses the vendor craft fair to gain exposure. With Time Out Entertainment Center’s large space, many different vendors have room to set up a wide display and showcase all of their products.
“We can get a lot of people in here. It’s comfortable. Everybody’s friendly. We try to help everybody out, make it as comfortable as possible,” said Thomas.
She encourages the community to come and experience the fair for themselves. For more information on the next vendor craft fair, check out Time Out Entertainment Center’s Facebook page at facebook.com.
