MAYSVILLE, Mo. – Dorothy M. Salisbury, 94, Maysville, Missouri, died at a care center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
She was born Oct. 26, 1929, to Herman and Emma (Ladage) Linder, in Cosby, Missouri.
She graduated from Savannah, Missouri, High School in 1947 and Guard Business School.
Dorothy and Robert Salisbury were married on Dec. 27, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1994.
Dorothy was a homemaker and 4H Youth education assistant. She was involved in numerous social clubs. She loved baking, gardening, quilting and playing games with her family.
Her most prized possession was her family.
She is survived by her five children and their spouses, David (Debra) Salisbury, of Gravois Mills, Missouri, Daniel (Kathy) Salisbury, of Kansas City, Missouri, Denise (Neil) Scott, of Kearney, Missouri, Diane Salisbury, of Lee’s Summit, and Sue (Steve) Brammer, of Lee’s Summit; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
