Truly tacky

Isn’t there supposed to be some kind of a barrier in the fencing to block the view of that junkyard on 22nd St. just south of Garfield? That is truly, truly, tacky. They need to seal that up. Others have black paper around them. This is just a junkyard in the middle of town.

They deserve

raises as well

I would like to remind the caller about races in the school district August election staff includes more than administrators. It includes library aides, secretaries, school, lunch workers, cooks, custodial staff. District maintenance people that help keep the building safe for our children, I think they deserve the raises as well as the teachers.

A Chiefs fan?

Well, the Chiefs have come to Saint Joe for the summer training camp and all of a sudden the weather turned really reasonable. I kind of wonder if Mother Nature might be a Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Nothing has changed

Well, they all claim that this experience has changed Donald Trump. He’s a changed man. Well, I’ll tell you what. You look at his pick for Vice President. You look at what he still says at the rallies and you listen to what he has to say in interviews. Nothing, absolutely nothing has changed about that man. To be honest with you, I wouldn’t believe that man if he was sitting on God’s knee.
