Law enforcement investigating body found off I-29

The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a death that occurred overnight near I-29 and DD Highway.

According to Buchanan County Sheriff Bill Puett, the gunshot wound appeared to be self-inflicted by the male victim.

No additional details are available about the death at this time.
