Dorothy went to heaven on June 1, 2024, at 79 years old. Dorothy was raised in Conception, Missouri, and resided in St. Joseph and Maryville, Missouri, where she passed away under hospice care from congestive heart failure.

She loved arts and crafts, bird watching, little children and helping people.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Nickolas Giggar; husband, Maurice Stanley; and sister, Estella Cox.

She is survived by her children, Wanda Giggar (George), Ricky Stanley, Christina Stanley, Kevin Stanley, Brian Stanley (Chris Alice); grandchildren, Rosanna and Bricen; siblings, Alice Giggar, Judith Nash, Edward Giggar and Rose Powers; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10 a.m. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
