SAVANNAH, Mo. – Brandon Scott Moore, 29, of Savannah, Missouri, passed away June 23, 2024, in St. Joseph. Brandon was born Jan. 16, 1995, in St. Joseph, to Doyle Moore and Vonda Lee (Kleeman) Moore Edwards.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Vonda (Mark) Edwards; father, Doyle Moore (Jean); sisters, Tiffany and Felicia Moore (Wade), and Mikaela Stockman (Brendan); brother, Cody Moore; nieces and nephews, Linkin, Sophia Annalee, Ranger, Lucas, and Sophia Irene; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brandon enjoyed lawn care working for his mother’s landscaping company. He was clever, often shared random history and animal facts. He was a natural born treasure hunter, music lover and self-taught casual dancer. He loved racing, football and was always ready to lend a hand or lift sad spirits. Brandon was quick witted, good natured and never held a grudge for long. He was a great person and will be very missed.

Brandon has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024, 2 p.m. at Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph Inc. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
