Lois Jean Fetters, 82, St. Joseph, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

She was born Sept. 30, 1941, in Cameron, Missouri, to Jewell and Ethel (Akins) Long.

Lois married Lonnie F. Fetters on July 31, 1958. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2022.

She was a department manager for Walmart for 23 years.

Lois enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, reading, and playing computer games. She loved family time.

Survivors include her children, Debbie, Karen, Gary and Rod; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Opal, Edna and Alice.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 3 p.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
